Red Rose Speedway Sticker?
Red Rose Speedway Sticker?
Can anyone make me a Red Rose Speedway decal? Maybe one with little or no adhesive? Maybe like a colorform? Wanna put them on both of my C64S!

PM sent.
Re: Red Rose Speedway Sticker?
Along the same lines-Colorform or the stickers that the 10 minute oil change places use.
Think of a sheet of this material-clear.
Printed on it the MMT paint job for the Ric 4001s.
The "sticker" does no harm and you get a detail of the Ric painted or even "Rocky" Georges painted Strat.
Any one out there game???

Those are vinyl 'stickers' which may react with the conversion varnish on a Rickenbacker and dull it where it was placed.
Ka is a wheel.

Vinyl, and they don't wrap around the edges or take compound curves at all. Vinyl has plasticizers, typically phthalates, that react with finishes.craig55 wrote:Along the same lines-Colorform or the stickers that the 10 minute oil change places use.

Ahh
Thought this was a fab Idea.
Anybody come up with something instead of painting it?

Doing this sort of thing as a production item would undoubtedly draw the attention, and possibly the ire, of Sir Paul's licensing people.
It's easy for an amateur to produce, and even easier for a graphics professional. Getting the permission to use the image is not so easy.

My focus is entirely for me.
The self stickies seem to be harmful to the finish.
How about a thin mylar or inert material?
Of course it wouldn't wrap the edges, but from several feet I bet it would look great!

I can send you a better photo, Brian.
But I suppose I'll just ship you the actual bass, OK?

I would not be offended if you sent pictures and the bass.
