I miss the New England and Dallas thunderstorms.... the ones that shake the house and make all the streetlights reset. Here in SoCal, when the ground starts shaking, I think to myself, "Is this a PRE-SHOCK for a bigger one?" and "Why the heck do I work on the 25th floor of a downtown hi-rise?". Most other bad weather (not that earthquakes are 'weather') gives a degree of predictability. And it has a beginning and an end. I hear ya Joey, one of my favorite things about summers here on the east coast, I love a good summer thunderstorm, we actually hade a hurricane here back in late June, it was awesome esspecially that they are very rarely seen in south philly, im a storm freak, alot of times the weather gets you all excited about the storm comming in and then you dont really get the storm they are talking about but it does hit all the other surrounding counties, I absolutely love a good summer storm and watching telephone poles bending in the wind, wouldnt trade it for nothing, but thats just me....lolrickenbrother wrote:I miss the thunderstorms that they get in NY.
