I met guitarist/producer Mark Neill through a Rockabilly buddy who had seen him play his MG 381 with Josie Kreuser (see Rickenbacker Artists). His band, The Unknowns were a garage/surf influenced punk band from San Diego in the 80's who came SO close to making it. Their story is a great read.

I actually got it jps! You see, my 2 main axes since 1999 are my REVEREND Slingshot and my Ric FG 330-12. I have it on good authority that Mr. Hinson was copying me.
Re: The Unknowns

The Unknowns guitarist and co-founder Mark Neill is planning on coming to SCARF with me.
Gear correction: The Mapleglow bass is a 4000, not a 4001. I wasn't paying attention. Hopefully, he'll bring it and the 381.
