Some cool images of older RIC Artists
When I saw this thread headline about older Ric artists, I mistakingly
thought it was going to be pictures posted of attendees from prior Confluences/Ric Jams that were unearthed !!

Re: Some cool images of older RIC Artists
Those pics are way cool--and I was tickled to see a couple of guys I know! I guess that means I'm getting old--although i didn't know them when the pics were taken. I'd seen a photo of the Brook Twins in Richard Smith's Rickenbacker book, but I never knew that Jimmy Luttrell played with them. Jimmy was one of the first musicians I met here in the North Bay when I came off the road in '82. Real nice guy, and an absolutely killer guitar player. I haven't seen him in a few years--I think he's in the Sacramento area now. In the shot of Jim Reeves and the Blue Boys is Jim Orr, a drummer whom I played with on the road in about "81. He had some great stories to tell about being on the road with Reeves. Apparently that was his first pro gig--talk about starting at the top!
