New to Forum
I'm new here. I've been hangin' around the Fab Forum for awhile and thought I'd see what's happenin' here.
I am a Singer, songwriter & play Rhythm Guitar, Bass Guitar & Harmonica. I have been in a few Bands. My main Band is "The Larson Brothers Band". We do most Genre's but are labled a Country Rock band. We have recorded 3 Albums which are avaialble at ITunes & most online Music stores.
I am also working with Tru-Gem Records & Brunswick Music Publishing recording a Solo Album which is a Tribute to the late Jody Reynolds - "Endless Sleep".
I am also collaborating with a Songwriter from Nashville named Dustin Alexander. We're writing for ourselve's and other Artist's as well.
I have been trying to form another Classic Rock Cover Band that does alot of Beatles & 60's Brit Invasion Rock. But I'm busy with other projects right now & time is limited. Don't have much time to focus on that right now. I do want to get back to that project soon. I really enjoy playing that music.
I am a big Rickenbacker fan & have been for years. I have several Guitars. One is a late '90's Mapleglo 360 6 string Guitar which looks, sounds; plays great & is in mint condition. I play that through a Vox AC15CC1X and it sounds like The Beatles! Love that sound. I am wanting to add a Fireglo 4003 Bass & a Fireglo 330, 340, 360 or 370 12 string. I like all of them although I am partial to the V63 like George's.
Is there a Gear For Sale section on this forum? I've been looking for awhile and just haven't found the right one yet.
That's the short story............. at least for now,
Lucky

Re: New to Forum
There is indeed a For Sale section, but you need to have at least 30 posts under your belt to be able to view and post on it. Check out this in the Rules section:
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=393488
30 posts is not that hard to get to but the moderators ask that members not "pad" their post count with "empty calorie" posts.

Welcome Lucky/Dustin... good to have you aboard!
Looks like you have RAS (Rickenbacker Acquisition Syndrome) already! Many of your fellow afflicted belong to this forum!

Welcome to the RRF! It's a great place to learn everything you ever wanted to know about Ricks, and then some!
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
Re: New to Forum
Welcome to the Forum Glenn. Do you have any pictures you could post of your guitar? and mayhaps your rig/equipment? There is also a recording section in the Forum... have any of your tunes recorded you could post? All good ways to hit the 30 post fast!

Welcome to the RRF, Glenn. I hope you'll hang around and enjoy yourself here. It's a great place on the web generally and the best place to indulge your Rick passion.
