Handrest for bezel?

Post by heinpete »

 Found some strange mod in the German ebay:http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VIS ... 0664837793
Besides the unusual but "original" bezel :? there is als a non-original bridge cover.

Now I'd like a bezel exactly like that in black.

The bridge cover looks a lot like a modified Fender bass PU cover like the one on my 1972 Jazz. Looks like it has been cut away to accommodate for the mute adjusters.

and that metal bobbin cover that is bent over the magnet structure down to the mounting plate...you can still see the adjust screws/springs and possibly the rubber magnet, somewhat. wonder how it's attached ?

What's the deal with the oversized pickguard and the slot-head screws?

No clue on the oversized guard, but Ric has used slotted screws in the past.
