"Sky Blue" Stratocaster

My new(used) strat. I thought it was "Sonic Blue" but when I called Fender they told me the color is "Sky Blue"

What year is the guitar? "Daphne Blue" was a color made in the '50s (continuing into the 60s), "Sonic Blue" was a color made in the '60s, and any reissue from the 50s is Daphne while any reissue from the 60s is Sonic. Yours seems to be modern, with its locking tuners and 22-fret neck. They probably are right, it is sky blue.

Thanks Jake! My Strat is a 2001 Fender American Series Stratatcaster.It really is "Sky Blue" It's a real Fender color I think it is a touch lighter than "Sonic Blue"
