360/12 White with BH/BT in 1995

A friend of mine just bought a May 1995 360/12 on craigslist. It's white(not faded-really bright white), with black hardware and binding. I didn't see any other white ones in the register for 95, and I was wondering if this was an anomaly, normal, or what? Was that color a custom option then, or was it just part of the line?
