a 1980 320 typically sell in the $1500 to $2000 range.
Yours might go on the higher side due to the rare colour. BTW - Autumnglo or Walnut? Do you know the difference?
Please post some pics and share the Serial number on the Jack plate so that we can precisely date it.

#. TI 3943 file pic too big to upload
next question is why does 2011 vintage guitar guide show a 8k price on an 1980 then drop to $1800 on an 1981
walnut as on a dakota 650? it's either fireglo or amberglo if there is much of a difference with NO f holes

John:
Walnut (or Walnut glo as I think of it) is a glossy brown sunburst bot unlike the recent Montezuma Brown finish.
Autumnglo is the same colour but in a matte (non shiny) finish.
If the guitar is more red then it is likely Fireglo
The sn dates your guitar to Sept 1980

I have seen a few of those (non-Lennon spec) lately sell right in the $1500 area. I don't know where $8000 comes from.

because the price guide is notoriously useful as fire tinder when it comes to Rickenbackers.next question is why does 2011 vintage guitar guide show a 8k price on an 1980 then drop to $1800 on an 1981
I'd value nearly any 320/325 built after 1969 at little more than $1800---that's it.

Re: trying to get the value of a 1980 320 amberglo
thank you fellow ricky's. i appreciate the answers. so yes it is fireglo and i agree on value now as i have other 320's. I traded a 1982 burgandy glo a year or so a go and went with a 1700 value as the burgandy glo is a bit more rare. So i now feel this fireglo is a 1500 priced guitar. it's giving company to a 1981 jetglo and a 1994 325v59 jetglo.
Guess that's why it's called a GUIDE( vintage guitar). To guide you down the wrong path.
