The Marketplace?
It says I don't have permission to view The Marketplace here on the Ric Forum. I'd like to check it out? What do you need to get permission?
Thanks,
Glenn

I was so eager to finally make enough posts and be able to get into the marketplace... only to find woe heartache and misery at all of the beautiful Rickenbackers I can't afford

I'm a new member here, was surprised to find 30 posts
are required to participate in the market place. I would
like to buy/trade as well as buy...only 29 to go. I am a
member of two other forums, ( trumpet and Trombone)
and only 5 posts are needed for both...only 29 to go .

Welcome, Mark!
What sort of Rickenbacker are you thinking of buying/selling/trading?

+1. Welcome, Mark.
They initially proposed 50 or 100 posts, before reconsidering !
It's not meant to be exclusive, but in the past, as on many forums, people would "turn 'n burn" in the marketplace, and never contribute to conversations.
That said, make it a good first 30 (filler posts are a huge bummer).

Re: The Marketplace?
Thanks for all the welcomes...I currently have a 620/6 jetglo. I am looking
for a 12 string, either a 620 or 360. I love the 620, but don't have the cash
to buy a 12 so would like to trade for one or sell it.
Great forum here, though, like all the topics and info.

Hey Mark welcome to the Forum. Don’t worry the thirty comes quick. Say hey to folks, post some pictures, ask a question or two... you'll be there before you know it.

Re: The Marketplace?
Glenn, Mark...just find threads where people have picked up new Ricks and post "Congrats, enjoy the bass!" on each of them. You'll get to 30 posts REAL fast

And exactly how are we supposed to get to know new members if they follow your advice on this matter Dane?aceonbass wrote:Glenn, Mark...just find threads where people have picked up new Ricks and post "Congrats, enjoy the bass!" on each of them. You'll get to 30 posts REAL fast![]()
