Kluson tuners with treaded bushings

Post by silverjet89 »

Hello everyone! Haven't been here for a while.
I have a 1985 360-12 with some busted tuners. They're Kluson Deluxe with a very square back and threaded post inserts (like Grovers).
I've never seen these before and can't seem to find any replacements. The ones in the RIC Boutique look like the ones that have the press in bushings. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
Kirk

it seems that you're after older schaller kluson like tuners - they don't make those with round metal button since like 1994...tone pros make drop in replacement with threaded bushings too (tony @ pickguardian is your source) . your second option is grover deluxe vintage..those have bit bigger shaft though...so it would require some mods. the tone pros klusons are excellent tuners and have very smooth action
