2001 330/6 Desert Gold

Post by bassman7365 »

I am a Ric bass player and have come across a 2001 330/6 in Desert Gold. Being a bassist, I am not educated in the value of this type of guitar. Can anyone help me with this. What should I expect to pay for one of these. Thanks, Pete

Welcome, Pete! (in case I haven't already said that!)

A 330 DG with the vintage pickups option sold on this Forum for $1495 + shipping about a week ago. (The thread is in a section where one needs at least 30 posts to be able to access.) The original asking price (with no takers) was dropped to $1700, still with no takers, and then lowered to $1495 at which it was sold. So I'd say $1500 - $1600 should be the right range (of course, lower is better!).

I tried, to no avail, to work with the seller but he was not interested in shipping the guitar. If you are near Idaho, check out Craigslist, Boise for rickenbackers and you will see and ad for a mapleglo $1200. It appears to be a Desert in the pics. Thanks for the insight. Pete
