Graham Gouldman 10cc.
Still using his original Ric- watch out for the 30 mins '10cc Tour' programme on Vintage TV.
They are sounding pretty much like the records, except the guitars are beautifully played,
but a bit feeble, as they don't have that overdriven tone that made me love them. The bass
is less toppy, as he's using Ashdown gear (shudders).

More than anyone else, the bass sound on 10cc albums made me want a Ric.

there are two 4001 basses shown...a 1" and a 1/2". loved the sound he had on "things we do for love" and the hollow haunting sound on "i'm not in love". very neck pickup heavy !

IIRC, I think Pete Greenwood had a chance at one of these back in the day...

My bro-in-law went to see them in Amsterdam this week and said he was using a blue one (could've been the lighting of course)? :?:
