The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS!
Re: Hernia Surgery
No catheter for me but had a stent for several weeks due to a stuck kidney stone.
Hope you have a speedy recovery!

Re: Hernia Surgery
Things going much better and wanted to thank everyone for the kind words and encouragement. Seems as though there was about 2 feet of colon outside, and was even down inside the scrotum!! Which explains all the trauma and swelling! They do it 'out patient' but the recovery process is a little more involved than I had imagined! Thanks again!

Re: Hernia Surgery
Update: Here it is some 37 days later and I would say that I'm at about 90% recovered! I still feel some tenderness every now and then, but very close to 100%. Thanks for all the support and putting up with some gruesome details!!

You are lucky it didn't become strangulated.jack1953 wrote:Things going much better and wanted to thank everyone for the kind words and encouragement. It will take longer than this for adhesions to develop. Then you will know what pain is.jack1953 wrote:Update: Here it is some 37 days later and I would say that I'm at about 90% recovered! Not only that, but the doctor and I are both amazed that I wasn't anymore constipated than I was!!ken_j wrote:You are lucky it didn't become strangulated.jack1953 wrote:Things going much better and wanted to thank everyone for the kind words and encouragement.
