Was this a regular production model? The only one I have ever seen was owned by the late Doug Fiegler

That looks like a Liverpool (24 frets) that's been "Lennonized."

It would have been much simpler to give the "treatment" to a 350V63 with stock toasters, but Doug must have liked those extra 3 frets . . .

Or maybe he did the mod before the V63s were issued in the miid-'90s.

Either way, it's a cool machine!

I assume the "JH" refers to John Hall? Where is "Be Bop burgers?" Is the guitar still on loan there? Interesting. . . . the "Rick-O-smell" has likely bee replaced by the scent of burgers by now. . .

This hits home with me this week... I'm writing and recording a new song. I charted out a somewhat complicated guitar duet for the bridge, carefully working out the harmonies note for note, and then realized I needed a high Eb... thus a 23rd fret. And I don't have a 6 string with 24 frets! So I had to play the whole thing down an octave!

The one at Be Bop was MG, I believe. Be Bop was in Santa Barbara, and has been gone for years.

This music store needs to get their facts straight...the guard is acrylic, painted gold, NOT "anodized aluminum.

Gorgeous guitar and a great price IMO.

Can you do a false harmonic, or is the part too complex to get that in in time (or out of time, for that matter ).
