That's been on a while now. I get the feeling it could end up one of those long term Ebay installations!

+ 50!

I'm with you Paul but I think we're in the minority here :?

It has made the rounds on eBay quite a few times though.

It needs to make its way round to my house.

IMO, where this bass fails is the headstock. If it had the wings on the headstock either be the silver sparkle and the center neck area match the neck it would really stand out.

Alternatively, if it had the center neck area sparkly and the wings a la a 4001CS, that would work too.

But not at the price they're asking...

I really dont care for that finish, it kinda makes the bass look like a Rickenfaker, if I did buy it off ebay, the first thing I would do is have that finish removed and have it refinished in Turquiose or Sea Foam Green.

I'd want it if I was in a band that often played in Las Vegas.

It could be worse: It could be a "Bootsy" Rick with J-bass pickups and other, um, er, "modifications"!

You guys are all sticks in the mud. .

Full disclosure; Dan and I each own at least one silver glitter sparkle-topped guitar apiece: His is a Gibson Les Paul, and mine's a Gretsch Silver Jet. . . . and we're both Billy Zoom fans as well. :D
