Who needs a spray gun and a steady hand, when you have a pair of tin snips, a cordless screwdriver, a box of screws, and a beat-up, old road sign. . . .
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

Absolutely! Most amateurs don't have the skills to produce something that ugly......

Yeah...they'd probably go overboard with a nail gun, instead of the pros choice--a power driver and some oval-headed screws.

Here's some more landscape loveliness, to enhance your playing and listening experience!

...seems like evvabody thinks they can screw up a silhouette these daze...

Judging from price, it came out of the outhouse near the barn where Leo Fender was born.

It makes me incredibly sad to know that trees had to die, and such lovely wood ruined, in making such ugly guitars.

Fugly, yes, but this one is interesting - a 5/7 string bass. Haven't seen nor heard of that before.

Really now, Fender? Cut it with the ridiculous theme guitars...what on earth are they trying to say with this guitar?

I feel bad for Fender's illustrious past, where they actually spent time and energy and designed new guitars from scratch, letting form follow function and creating classic designs in the process.

Now they must sit around with a blank Tele, writing a list of far-fetched theme ideas to cover it with, with zero correlation to music or anything. What the??

Leo Fender was a utilitarian genius and the people over at Fender are dancing on his grave...they're just as bad as Gibson these days.

To me, that guitar seems like it was a "good idea" that should have stayed in the thought stage....
