325 V63 / 325 C64 What's the Difference?

Post by stringsncords »

There's a 325 V63 listed on the 'bay that appears to be identical to a 325 C64.
I had thought that it was the absence of the Accent Vibrato in favor of a trapeze, but this V63 has one.
What's the difference between these 2 models?

Both models have the Accent. I believe the 325C64 has dual truss rods, vintage style roller bridge, 7.5 inch fretboard crown radius, slightly different TRC shape, different internal body bracing, and "Scatterwound" Toasters. I believe 325V63 production ended around 2001 and the 325C64 models started shipping in early 2006.

I know the C64 is the most accurate to Lennon's aestetically too (screw types, etc).
