It's hard to tell - actually looks like a sleighbell? :? Maybe roger was experiencing feedback and decided to block up the soundhole? Cool video all the same. Nice to see some closeups of his high gain equipped Rick 370/12. Thanks for posting.

I've seen that in several pics of his rick from around this time period... I was thinking it may have been some sort of early onboard guitar tuner.
