when were my 4001 pickguard + pots made?

Post by Sir Ricardo »

Hello!

I went through my "Ric" box and found this pickguard. I just don't recall what year 4001 it went on.

It's got a toaster, and the distance from the toaster to the top of the pickguard is about 11/32"

The pots say "Mexico" on them. Can that be right?

Here are some photos....I see "7228" on the pots. Is that 1972?

thanks much -

Richard

28th week of 72. Bass was made a month or more after at a guess.
