350V63 modified to 350V59
Hi folks,
Yesterday I just finnished the modifications of my 350V63. I use a pickguard from pickguardian (Thanks Tony). Burns reproduction Knobs from The Rickenbacker Page (Thanks to you guys), Original Bigsby B5 from a great german dealer and guitar maker (Rockinger). Strings are Thomastik-Infeld flatwounds (11) . Only Problem was to drill the holes for the Bisby into my new, virgin guitar, but i did it !
What do you think of my mods ?
Thanks
Peter

Looks great!
Now, this has probably been asked countless times on the forum, so I'll keep it quick
Where did you find the TRC? I'm planning a pickguard & TRC conversion for my MB 340. (It came with standard modern white PG and TRC.) Pickguardian's great for the PG, but I'm not sure how to proceed for a gold TRC.
Thanks.

Hi Stefan,
you have to search for Ebay ! And pay alot of bucks !
Pickguardian will not do the TRC because the shape is part of the patended design !
Thank you all for your nice comments !

Wow that's nice, that classic style with a little extra room to play! I've got a '96 350 with an Accent and it's one of my favorite RICs...
Re: 350V63 modified to 350V59
Very nice job, congrats!! When you bought the TRC, did you send it to Tony so he could match the color?
I've got a 350 in MID I'd love to convert to gold plastic....

Peter it looks fantastic. I call your name ...

They look great! John's bigsby didn't have a shaded background on the name, but no big deal, It takes alot of guts to drill into a new instrument. I give you props!
