Special Colors on the Bay

Post by rickyfricky »

I've been waiting to see when the Special Green, White, and TV Yellow 4001c64's (the recently made "five-offs") would hit the bay and for how much.

Looks like Olivia's Vintage has one of each, all marked up for a tidy profit (I believe that's called commerce).

Sorry I don't know how to post a link.
Watch those teeth, Marlin. I'm not sure we've properly sedated the beast . . .

The white is stunning, the green is cool, but the yellow is too Big Bird for my tastes.

Yeah Nice...

I think it sucks that they bought one of each with the intention of sitting on them for 2 months, only to try and make a 20% profit .

Is it me being jealous? ..... Maybe... I guess the old saying holds true, you have to have money to make money. It would have been alot cooler to see these basses "adopted"by someone who really wanted one....... And at a fair price!

Shame on the seller I say!

Same here, but those upside-down headstocks saved me a lot of money.

I like how the listing for the MID says it was under "professional lighting" for some of the photos, but they didn't even bother to blow the dust off it for the close-ups.

Must have had professional lighting but not a professional photographer...
