I would be very grateful if one of you gents (or ladies if there be any...) would take a
full size pic of the front of the head stock.
Hi rez with as little space distortion would be fantastic.
Just cookin' up sumpin'.....

Just go to the register's gallery... That's why we had it in the first place:
1970 4001:

Some of the 1971 have good hires headstock images.

Though good, all are distorted in some way ; too much
to make a template from.
Though I just might have to wing it..

John, here's my none stripe 72, I can do better pic's next week if it's the right shape that is. Or a template which would be dead on.

it had flat grovers...i hate them...they fell apart too many times at the wrong moment...i put the reverse klusons on it and replaced the walnut wings to a uniform color walnut. will look nice when laquered.
