any 1964 370s made ? earliest 370 made in 1964?

Post by Sir Ricardo »

Hello..........

Were any 1964 370s made?

New style or O.S.?

I'm particularly wondering about new style models.

If a 1964 new style was made, what would be the earliest month they would have been introduced?

I checked the Registry and found no entries for ANY 370s made in 1964, new style or old style.

Thoughts?

thanks -

Richard

Search for model 375.

The Register shows 3 dating to 1964, but no pics so hard to tell whether new style or O.S.

I'd take a wild guess that they are NS models.

It doesn't seem that Rickenbacker made any standard production OS models in '64. It seems they were maxed-out on Rose Morris orders, basses and then NS instruments (I don't think they even made any standard 330 models until '65).
