Wow! Talk about looking like an... um... "appendage"...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

With that headstock, it could be used as a hockey stick, too ...

They had an article about those UniVox models in Vintage Guitar magazine, a couple of months back.
They definitely have a different look ... kind of awkward and clumsy looking to me. Like two different sides of the brain were operating the band saw, when they cut those monsterous appendages....
But the UniVoxes probably have a cult following amongst those looking for something unique.

LOL Scott!

Susanna does not look pleased.

There's just no reason for that shape whatsoever. . .
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

"Uh, I like the double bounds. . . ."

Stage guitar, ridiculous on purpose to attract attention. Embarrassing.

"Rare & Limited"

Sometimes there's a very good reason for that.

I would prefer "Extinct".

Musicvox, Rich.

(Univox was the brand name of a line of budget copy guitars made in the Matsumoku factory in Japan from the late 60s to early 80s).

Noted the name mix up.....
I think Univox was also a name of the prototype organ amplifier (from the Dick Denny and Tom Jennings era) and that the Vox guitar amp line evolved from Univox in the late 50s.
Vox, UniVox, MusicVox --- too many similarities
