When I became consumed with Rickenfatuation that one day I would have FOUR 4003s....and a 330... I don't think I could have contained my excitement. The memory of my yearning for a Ric as a teen is only sweetened by the fact that as an adult I am able to fulfill my youthful dreams. I am not trying to become a hoarder but I am obviously smitten with the Ric Collectors bug. Truly I am thankful for the ability to own these fine instruments and even more thankful for this forum where we can share the love of all things Ric and feed the flames of each other's addictions!

+1 to that 1988/89 was when I fell for the look of the 4001/4003,even though it took till 1998 to get one.

If I had only known in 1995 when I first found out about the 4001CS Signature models (thanks to A.M.Y.) that they were still available new.... I just figured since they were introduced in 1991 and only 1000 were made, they would have all been snapped up and gone.
