65 Melody Maker

I got this Melody maker at local stor yesterday. I think the color is Cardinal Red.

Cool guitar! I just saw a youtube of a 70's Mountain concert yesterday,Leslie West was playing one of these.(i think) it looked like a toy on him,but the live sound was fantastic. (Looked like he was playing through a ,er, mountain of Sunn amps and cabs.....)

Thanks! Robbie Krieger used to play a 1964 Melody Maker before he got his SG. He played the Melody Maker on the 1st Doors 45 "Break On Through(To The Other Side)"

Like the LP Junior and the Fender Esquire, the Melody Maker is proof that sometimes less really is more. That looks to be the absolute dog's doodahs Mitch, if you'll excuse the over-enthused vulgarity!
