Is this is a real Rickenbacker?

Hello
I've bought a "rickenbacker" guitar and i dont know if it is fake or real. I've searched web for pictures of any rickebacker that might look as mine but i didn't found anything.

Absolutely not. This is a cheap Asian copy guitar.

Unfortunately, this is a classic example of trademark dilution. Some who doesn't know anything about our instruments runs into a poorly made guitar like this, thinks it is (or might be) a Rickenbacker, then uses it to judge our product. This is one of the most important reasons one must defend a trademark, even when the sale of the item itself does not directly harm the market for the original- but the long term, indirect effects can be quite damaging.

Gotta say, I'd be rather annoyed too if my company's brand was attached to such a pile of junk as this guitar.

Copy is one thing, but posing it as the real McCoy is entirely another. Imagine if a player didn't know Rickenbackers and thought that's how they all look and play? :shock:

With that TRC that looks like it was written on there with a Sharpie, I couldn't tell if this was a joke post or not.

It's not a Rickenbacker - but a Chinese plywood copy of no value...
