350 12 String.. in the new GC mail out

Just received a Guitar center mailer mini catalog

I note: they say they have " New at Guitar Center " the 350 12 string.

Picture shows.. 24 fret.. Trapeze tailpiece.

news to me this was being made..

which could just mean.. "new" for them to carry the model

and lower down.. below the SKU and List price

took a cell phone pic of the ad. Nothing would indicate NOS or Clearance.

They have the same features. " New at Guitar Center " and " New " typesetting.. . for the other 3 guitars on the page.. the 325C64 Jetglo, 360/12 Fireglo, and 620/6 Fireglo

so..

I gather then that the 350-12 is not being produced..

that GC got ahold of very few.. from somewhere ( maybe even RIC )

and that within 18 hours of me receiving my catalog.. they are not available

As an ex retailer.. I find that kind of bogus.. as I would at least have to put in MY ads : Quantity is VERY limited.

If I ran out of something that I FEATURED in an advertisement.. within A DAY of sending a flyer out to my customer mailing list.. I had very angry customers.

This page was prepared in the latter part of January, just after the NAMM show. It does take quite awhile for catalogs to be produced and mailed, but you're right, they couldn't have had too many of them as they would have been older stock. But they obviously must have had enough to make it worthwhile to invest so much to produce this mailing.
