OK one more time: Need white name plate to replace black one
Hi I would like to either trade my brand new black nameplate from a 4004L FG for a new white one , or entertain prices for someone selling a white one. Please be reasonable an 8 inch piece of plastic is not worth those unbelievable asking prices. Email me with any trade or sale info. ([email protected]) Hate the BLACK nameplate.

Ed, is your TRS molded or back painted plexi?

Op says its the brand new trc that comes on 4004l,so i imagine its the molded black/silver one...i wanted a gold plexi trc for my cii,but couldn't see paying $100 for a 3 inch peice of plastic,so i had a friend airbrush it gold, and had the raised letters blacked in with a sharpie, which worked really well.

A much less expensive option is to spray paint the black/chrome Laredo TRC with gloss white paint, then use a block sander and fine-grit sandpaper to shave off the top surface of the raised letters down to the original black plastic. To make the letters glossy, overcoat them with Pledge with Future Shine (formerly Future) floor finish. Always give enough time between operations to allow the paint to thoroughly cure.
