Both my 4003 basses have Higains in the neck, and HB1s in the bridge (with coil taps too). I'm thinking of doing a full 4004 job on one of them - ie putting both HB1s into one bass.
Is there any reason why I shouldn't re-use the neck hi-gain from the one bass in the bridge position on the other bass? I have a spare treble base-plate etc.
Aesthetically - It would look good, especially if using the bezel surround.

The pole spacing on the higains is different between the neck ones and the bridge ones. Take the neck one and hold it over the strings at the bridge position and you'll see what I mean. It might work, though.vulcan_creedler wrote:Both my 4003 basses have Higains in the neck, and HB1s in the bridge (with coil taps too).
