I was curious if it belongs to a forum member, or if anyone knows anything about it? Its different.

Interesting - hard to tell if it's white, or a BlueBoy. Cool look to it.

I love gold pick guards on the right color bass. That kinda looks blueboy-ish. Very nice, whatever the color.

On my IMac it looks grayish white. It may be in the lighting shadow.
I used to have a Mike Lull Thunderbird that I ordered as Oly white, and it too, had a grayish/green cast about it.

IIRC this was a 4001C64 refinished in a Blue Boy-like color that some dealer was trying to pass off as a "Rick custom shop" bass. That idea was shot down and the bass pulled from the dealer's website. Not a RIC dealer, btw.

I remember that as well -- I think this was discussed on RRF a few months back.

IIRC, someone wrote inside the body cavity "BB Custom".

And IIARC, it's in the Register as being "BUTCHERED IN NJ".
Watch those teeth, Marlin. I'm not sure we've properly sedated the beast . . .

Interesting tale.
I was surfing Rickenbacker basses in google images and this was one of the instruments that was on the page. Perhaps, its a shot from the Ebay ad mentioned.
