New to the forum
Hi, new to the forum here!
I got the Rick bug again recently and just took delivery of a fine 330 Jetglo!
I'm highly impressed by how this thing plays, the neck size and shape are perfect for me. Balance is wonderful.
What a cool guitar.
Here is a pic of the fretboard. Would you thing it's Rosewood?
I do have a few questions which I'll pull together and post but I wanted to introduce myself and join up with fellow Rickenbacker players.
This is my second Rick as I had a beautiful 330 12 string Fireglo but sadly it was stolen from me.
Glad to be here with a 330/6!

I had a friend whose Jetglo 350 Liverpool had a beautifully figured fingerboard like yours. What a piece of ART!

What year is your Ric? I believe it was in 2013 that Rickenbacker switched over to Caribbean rosewood for their fretboards. That wood tends to have very distinctive wood figuring like your fretboard seems to have.

Re: New to the forum
It was made 18th week of 2014.
I was toggling between getting a figured board vs a more traditional board and went with the figured.
I really like these strings. Are they Ric 10 - 46 or 10 - 42 round? I usually use Curt Mangan strings but these are nice.

Rics used to be that odd gauge .42s on the low E. New Rics now come with .46s. Your 2014 would have the 10s - 42s.
My 2013 Ric with the Caribbean rosewood fretboard has a bit more wood figuring than my other Rics. It's a nice change.

Welcome Mark!
Sorry to hear about your stolen Rick, if you still have the serial number - please add it to the register and mark it as "stolen". We have united quite a few stolen instruments with their lawful owners by catching the stolen instruments on eBay.

So long and thanks for all the fish!

Welcome to the forum, Mark! Beautiful fretboard ya got there! Hows about a few pics of the rest of the guitar?

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Thanks for the welcome!
Here she is. Easily the nicest playing guitar I have and within the top ten I've ever played in 40+ years.
Butter, butter, butter and a nice singing voice. Bloom galore. Double-stops are glorious. Very straight solid neck and refuses to go out of tune.
Bridge position great and bridge+neck great.
Neck alone is bassy dark and round - maybe bassier than I'd like. Is that normal?
Tommy - nice Midnight Blue - the fretboard looks great with that pick guard.
GibsonLP - great idea - thanks. I'll dig out the receipt and see if the serial number is on there.
