Builders marks

Has anyone made note of the builders markings on the body under the pick guard.

Not under the pickguard, but tonight I had the treble pickup out of my '83 4003 for the first time and found "WHY" written in the cavity. Not sure if that relates to the walnut finish or to something else.

My May 1975 Mapleglo 4001 has the following inscriptions in the cavity:

Florio
4001-T
BC

According to this Florio was the name of the sander:
