Gold Pickguard/Faceplate - 660

I see some online sites selling the gold pickguard for the 660, but can't find the faceplate, if that's what you call it. I'm talking about the part with "Rickenbacker" that goes on the headstock. Anyone know where I can find all three at the same place, or just the faceplate?

We call them Rickenbacker Truss Rod Covers (TRC for short).

They are a controlled part which means you can't order one from RIC. (unless you have a broken one to trade in).

Ebay is about your only way to find one. There are a few sellers who part out guitars and they come up fairly regularly. They are very expensive mind you.

Also (depending on when the TRC was made the footprint changes slightly. Knowing when your RIC was made will help you find a TRC that will fit it.

Be careful though fakes (especially of the clear plexi ones) pop up all the time as well.
