1993 El Dorado 2060

Post by karlfer »

As said before, long time lurker but rare poster. Hopefully the pictures will be at least visible, if not very good

No idea why there are 6 photos instead of 4 but at least I got some up

Hi Karl

Lovely photos, thanks for sharing. It's not often we see shots the 2060 on these forums, and yous looks particularly nice in its all-maple finish!

I'd love one of these!

Thanks Ash. I've read and used the forum for a few years as a guest, but didn't actually sign up until a few weeks back.
Guess it's cos I'm old and lazy (and ever so slightly dim)

Very nice! 8) These are great sounding basses with a very aggressive voice, if desired.

I have it's somewhat more simple black cousin! :D

Here's another one(1993), just like the other one, I've been hangin on to it, and I'll never let it go. A unique Rickenbacker bass that plays and sounds great. A lot of fun.

Thanks guys, great to see some other 2060's.
Mine is very light and a joy to play.
I got it from a friend who had snared it very cheaply (£730) on FEEBay. Unfortunately I found out about that after he sold it to me for considerably more

BUT, worth every penny, it is the only one I've seen in the flesh.

To misquote a certain tv legend "it's a Rick Jim, but not as we know it".
