1966 F HOLE 4005 Bass?

1966 F HOLE 4005 Bass?
I own a 1965/67 4005 Rick hollow body bass that has a F hole instead of the cats eye slit. I believe it is a S model that was shipped to Europe. Does anyone know anything about this style bass bass? How many were produced? Thanks Motmot

they usually pop up in Italy and go by the Rose Morris designation 3261. I think one example recently sold by a forum member to a progrock star in Canada. I think I've seen around four in the past 10 years or so being advertised for sale. Quite rare, the RRF register lists 5 of them.
