Price for a 2030GF

Post by Mcmanu »

Hi everyone!

I'm new in this forum. I'm a Ric 2030GF owner and I would like to know what is a good price for this bass. The bass is undamaged and sounds as the first day (I play it regularly in concerts and rehearsals). Some people want it and ask me to sell it. I don't really know if being a limited edition as it is and perhaps there are no more than 200 in the world increase the price. This is the reason why I have the doubt of what price could it have... any suggestions??

Thank you all.

You want to ask at least $2500 for it, given its very limited run. Probably, no more than 100 (less, more likely) 2030GFs were made.

I loved the one I had for a few years; it was a superb sounding bass with a most excellent feeling neck on it. :D

I wish Jeff was right, but I couldn't give mine away for half that a year or two ago. Glad I kept it! It's a great bass!

Thank you for your answers.

I've got it since 2008. The bass has all the original parts and just some scratches of the normal use and I bought it for 750 € (about 815 €). So now i know thet it was a great deal. I think the man who sold me the bass did not know very much about it (neither did I in that time...) I was looking for a Fender Prercison and I found the 2030GF 60miles away from my home with a similar price of Fenders!

But I'm not going to sell it...it's my little baby,I'm happy with the RIC and my hofner 500 to play the music I like.

Thank you again mates!
