Re: 4003 Cieloglo
Very nice, well done Rickenbacker!
Re: 4003 Cieloglo
Is it me, or there are many "Exclusive edition" coming these days?
Re: 4003 Cieloglo
Hard to tell from these pics. Is it no binding or blue binding?
Re: 4003 Cieloglo
Looks to me like white binding blending in with the white background.

This is a special edition, for playing the Blues.Nop wrote:Is it me, or there are many "Exclusive edition" coming these days?
Re: 4003 Cieloglo
It's nice but I'll wait until they do "my" limited edition color: Amber Jetglo!

This is Ltd. Edt. #2 for CME.
Hopefully Ric will do a Limited Edition 4003 for Wildwood Guitars sometime soon.
I'd love to see one in White with black hardware & checkered binding...

It looks a great deal like "Santa Ana Skyglo" to my eye... Although as we have seen in the past, photos can be deceiving on shades... Is it a metallic?
I am still waiting to see a "British Racing Green" bass. Perhaps that will be the next batch...

If it's with black hardware: "reverse" checker (black on the outside) would look superb.superdick2112 wrote:This is Ltd. Edt. #2 for CME.

Heh, looks like the "Haruko" anime bass all these crazy kids are showing up with at Comicon. The Japanese buyers sure seem to like those electric colors! Not my cup-o' tea, but to each their own:

I agree about the Santa Ana Skyglo, which is a finish I like a lot. And +1 on the British racing green! What was the name of the 60s F1 driver who had a car in that finish? Was it a Lotus? Anyway, love that shade of deep green and I think it would look splendid on a Rick 4003S!Ontario_RIC_fan wrote:It looks a great deal like "Santa Ana Skyglo" to my eye... They are all great finishes, and kudos to Rickenbacker for tossing out some fresh idea's. But since everyone's tossing out suggestions, I've always hoped that turquiose would come back into the line up as a mainstay, I think I even read somewhere that it was a favorite of Ben's.
