I am new on here ... long time player, but have never owned a RIC before. I decided to dive into something new so I recently acquired a 2014 RIC 330. I like it a lot!
However, I agree with a lot of what I am reading about a sort of lifelessness in the high gain pickups. I am battling between picking up a pair of RIC Toasters or a pair of Lollar Broilers. I would appreciate anyone's impressions of them, versus each other and versus the stock high gain pickups.
One thing I would like to know for sure is whether there is any modification needed for the Toasters or Broilers to fit on a 330 (other than wiring, of course).
Many thanks,
Brian

Re: Toasters vs. Lollar Broilers questions
No mods required. I would go with the Rick toasters, just because they sound and look amazing. And they would be better down the road come resale time, if that occurs.
This just looks "more" right, doesn't it?

Re: Toasters vs. Lollar Broilers questions
Thank you. I was specifically concerned whether the Lollars needed any modification to the guitar. Thanks!
