Stone Canyon Band?

Post by MetalDetektor »

Hi - I've just joined the Forum so I could post this question.

I have a 1975 Azureglo 4001, which I have owned for probably 15 years. I bought it off ebay back in the day and really have only played it very sporadically as I have other basses I gravitate to. In any event, last week I looked under the pickguard for the first time (I wanted to see if the .0047 capacitor was still attached - it was). I found a monogrammed pick inside for the Stone Canyon Band. I know Randy Meisner (who played a Ric bass) was in that band but I believe he had left to join the Eagles in 1970 or 1971. I'm trying to figure out who was playing bass for the Stone Canyon Band in and around 1975, and whether that bass player played a 4001. If anyone has any information that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That was Rick Nelson's band.

So this linke took me to some names:

running the names through Wiki I think Jay DeWitt White was the bass player.
