HI all. I have a 2008 4003 that I have not played in a while. I needed it for recording this week and I am having a problem with the bridge pickup, it is very weak compared to the neck pickup with little volume and little bass. On visual inspection one of the case keys was stuck to the magnet under the cover. I include this fact in case someone thinks this caused the problem. With a patch cord the neck resistance is 11.4, the bridge is 140. I took off the pick guard and none of the wires appears loose.
I live about halfway between Greenville SC and Atlanta GA. If you can recommend a shop in this general area to fix this please let me know. I'm new to this area. Thanks!

Take it to Dylan at Classic City Vintage Guitars in Athens GA. He should be able to sort you out

Alternately, if you’re closer to Atlanta, get in touch with Kenny Howes here on the RRF. He might be able to take a look at the pickup.
