Neck Profile question: 2024 330/12 vs. 360/12C63

Post by Wproffitt »

Hello all,
I'm really interested in getting a Rickenbacker 12-string and have a bit of a conundrum: I have played the new 2024 330/12 with 21 frets and love the neck profile. Earlier year models that I have played have scared me off due due to neck geometry. Not so with this one! It feels just right and easy to get around on.
HOWEVER, I love the aesthetics of the 360/12c63 model, as it essentially looks like a gussied-up 330. For a few dollars more than the 2024 330/12, I could buy a 360/12c63 but am wary of this as I've never found one to play out in the wild.
My question is: How similar or different are the necks of these two guitars? I know that there are other differences (pickups, Rick-o-sound) but this is the main concern for me. I'd hate to buy a 360/12c63 sight unseen only to realize later that I should have just gotten the 2024 330/12 that I KNOW will feel good to play.

Thanks in advance for your help!
