Yup... had a feeling he didn't really get $5000+ for it. It started off with a $3500 BIN. It will be interesting to see if he really sells it for less than his $5000 reserve (??). Love how it is the same script as before - "won't be re-listed"!

Is it indeed the same seller though? This could easily be a case of stolen photos and description as part of an attempted scam.

Just compared this seller to the previous listing (the one that sold for $5049. Different seller. This is a scam - STAY AWAY! Check it out for yourself.

The old listing:

I didn't even realize that the seller was different, he must have just cut and pasted the original ad, same language! I just thought the part about "This will not be relisted!" was funny!

Also how could there be a 5K reserve, when there is none.

My God, that is why eBay scares the hell out of me sometimes. I'm sure glad that we all look out for each other here. Hey, I just clicked on the link, and now it's gone. Great job, guys, another scam smoked out!

I heard it can be a serious problem for a merchant using PayPal if someone comprimises his username. They often will freeze all assets of the innocent merchant's PayPal-tied bank account for quite some time. (So, if you have a merchant PayPal account, never leave a chunk of change in it.)
