Looks like it's back to $795, still a bargain.

Well, it's at $815 now but, hasn't met the reserve. Music123.com is taking orders at $1169 with free shipping.

How much is a used 97 worth?

What happened? The last time I looked the reserve was met! What's interesting about this one that the neck pup is in the original position - right up against the neck and it's a fireglo. Didn't know they made early L's in anything but Jetglo

The high bidder bailed out, it's odd because she's been bidding on several high end Rics, and won the Tuxedo a few months back.

I'd rather order and wait for new at that price.

That's what I'm thinking. But one thing about the bass on ebay, I was under the impression that fireglo wasn't available back then(1997)on the 4004 series.

GONE! That would be me. I was up late with my band last night and used the guitarist's computer to bid about 40 minutes before the close.

So this will be Rick number 5 in my collection. I'm thinking about unloading my mint 2002 Mapleglo 4003BT (the last year for black trim and hardware) if anyone is interested.

I am thinking of getting a 4003 mapleglo and a jetglo 1990 or later

Congrats on the new bass

Congrats! That bass really grew on me as I kept checking in on it. The (dark) fireglo and the maple neck is a great look.

These are really sweet basses. Here's a NAMM model I just sold to a friend of mine. He went nuts over it when he saw it.
