Dear Mr. Hall,
Sorry to bother you with business type questions, but I am getting nowhere by e-mailing [email protected]
I want to buy the Rick-O-Sound kit, and I have a simple question:
When sending in an order form for an accessory such as the Rick-O-Sound stereo kit, do we pay the Suggested U.S. Retail Price (Suggested List Price) that is found on the part number listings on the Rickenbacker web site? (i.e. $75 for Rick-O-Sound???)
I have the order form printed and I have the part number (97000). I just need to know how much to send via money order with the order form.
You may also be interested to know that there is an individual on e-bay who is selling the Rick-O-Sound kit on a regular basis with the heading "Rick-O-Sound...Very Hard To Find" and his auctions often go much higher than the suggested list price. He's basically playing on peoples' ignorance leading them to believe these are no longer available. I really do not know the legal aspects of such things, but I wanted you to know in case he can be stopped from mis-leading other Ric owners.
Thank you for your answers and time.
Rickless

Hi Jon,
Try Mike Parks' site, he's a great guy to deal with. He's asking $75.00.

I've sent this over to the appropriate department for contact off board as I've previously stated that we're not going to do customer service in a non-offical environment.
However, if anyone does not receive a timely response to an inquiry it's due to the fact that 1) it just didn't get here or 2) it was spam blocked for any number of reasons. Resend your message, from a different account if possible, and make sure you mention appropriate words like "guitar" and "Rickenbacker" as the email system here is context sensitive to try to avoid false spam positives.
However, if your ISP is on any of the major black lists, you'd better break out the stamps or telephone.
