This is the beginning. I intend to document with photos the transformation of what started out as a Univox or Ibanez copy into something that will look,smell and taste like a customized 4000 bass, but can never actually be one.
When completed, it will be sea foam green, have gold pickguard and blank truss cover along with a horseshoe pickup and black hardware. There is even a possiblity of checkerboard binding.

Sergio, I'm going to keep on top of Lollar to see when his will be ready.The Luthier said he could actually make one but that he was familiar with Lollar and thought his might be more accurate.
Speaking of accurate, I was just informed that I will be receiving the needed checkerboard binding.
Jeff, I'm not a big fan of preamps. That's why I sold off my Sting Rays.As far as soap bars, I want it to look,smell and taste like a Ric with less calories.
