Very pretty. I like the pickup placement, it is a lot like a Jazz Bass. It does look as though it would be difficult to reach the top fret. Is that a bolt-on neck? What does Sandberg call it?

I checked the website, it must be a custom shop model as it's not listed as a standard model. The neck seems really wide as well, or is it the photo?

Yeah, Jeff, look, they layed out the holes in the headstock like your conversions, not like a Ric 5-stringer.

Kind of like a 4002/5... with the Jazz bass pickup placement.

What's OLP? I thought the shape was copywritten?

Maybe this was custom made for Jeff Rath. Funny how we haven't heard from him yet!

OLP Officially Licenced Product, kind of like processed cheese food, not the real thing.

If anyone is wondering why Jeff has been so quiet...He is on vacation, I'm sure he will have a comment shortly.
BTW, I think it is sweet and I would love to play one!

OLP is the name on Officially Licensed Product put on instruments made in Korea make are licensed to make Musicman guitars and basses.

That Sandberg copy looks cool, but it's not a Rick.

I love that bass ... I would put a couple of emg's in it ... they should make a 4004 like that ...
