Tuxedos?

Post by rickfan60 »

They do seem to be an acquired taste. How many are there in this group?

No, I think they are white with white binding and white lacquered fretboard, black pickguard and TRC, black hardware, and small black dot position markers as the ones in Ted's and KJames' photos.

The big difference that makes them rare is the white-lacquered fretboard, just as the red-lacquered fretboard makes the "redneck" so different and rare.

This may sound stupid but the Ric is the most beautiful bass ever created, like a fine woman, beautiful curves, fun to play with, they just can't compare. Seeing all of your basses on this and other threads, WOW!, We are the fortunate ones.

Sorry for my emotional rants.
