As many of you would know, I'd been looking for a 340 for some time as my first Rickenbacker.
Well, I didn't find it...!
But what I did come across was a beautiful 330 Fireglo with toasters at Rumble Seat Music. I made an offer on it - and now it's mine
I took onboard the advice you guys gave that 'less is more' and I didn't necessarily need the 340 as my first Ric. I think the toasters swung the deal, too. If it was just a pair of hi-gains, I might have had second thoughts... but the look, sound, and added value of the toasters made it worth it.
So, if anyone wants to make a great deal, Rumble Seat has my firm recommendation right now
